Powerball is a lottery game run by the Multi-State Lottery Association. The first ever drawing for Powerball occurred in 1992 on April 22. Powerball Rules
In Powerball, drawings are held every Saturday and Wednesday night at exactly 10:59pm EST. Two drums are used in the Powerball Lottery Drawing. The first of the two Powerball drums contain white balls numbered from 1 to 59 and the second drum contains red balls numbered between 1 and 39. In each Powerball drawing, five white balls and 1 red ball are drawn. In order to take down the grand prize in Powerball, your Powerball card must match the five drawn numbers, as well as the red number. Additional prizes are awarded underneath the grand prize.
